On Saturday we had the pleasure of attending Terry Coffey’s 80th Birthday Party and performing a concert for all his family and friends. Terry provided a lovely lunch for us at the Assembly Rooms, Lincoln and at the end of the meal the band put on a concert which was enjoyed by all his guests. Terry performed a solo called Waltz No2 on his Baritone Saxophone and his Grandson joined the cornets and trumpets to play Buglers Holiday, a well known piece that really gets the cornets and trumpets working hard!

Terry has been in the band for a number of years now, he’s served as Chairman and now currently Vice Chairman on the committee, he’s always one of the first people to volunteer to help in any way he can with the running of the and band and the engagements we attend. From everyone at LFRCB we wish you a very HAPPY Birthday Terry and thanks for letting us be part of you celebrations.
